Kerry Lekas, CPA/PFS, CFP, MST, RLP

Managing Partner

Kerry Lekas brings decades of experience working with small to medium-sized businesses in diverse industries on tax planning and preparation. Her tax consulting services span the full business lifecycle from founding equity and business structure planning to exit strategy and beyond. 

In addition to her CPA designation, Kerry has a Masters in Taxation from Bentley College and a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.

Joanne L. Edgar, CPA CFO

Managing Partner

An experienced auditor and CPA, Joanne founded J. Edgar Group twenty years ago. By providing CFO services on-demand, she bridges the service gap between traditional CPA services stressing compliance and companies’ need for a knowledgeable financial partner to help chart a successful business strategy. 

As acting CFO for a number of companies across northern New England, Joanne has worked to support major mergers and acquisitions, negotiate corporate financing for significant property purchases and operations, and helped emerging industries with critical financing needs. 

Joanne holds a B.S. in Accounting from Plymouth State University.

Kari Brace, CPA

Manager

Joining us in 2018, Kari brings with her over two decades of experience. Kari works with our clients to determine how Lekas, Edgar & Co. can best meet their needs. She also prepares both individual and business tax returns and prepares, compiles, and reviews financial statements. Kari also works closely with the staff accountants.

Laura McKevitt

Senior Accountant

Laura joined the Lekas, Edgar & co. team in February 2022. She resides in Hudson, NH with her husband, two adult children, and fur babies. Laura earned her accounting degree from Mercy College in New York and has enjoyed a career of over 35 years in Accounting and Human Resources. In this next chapter, Laura looks forward to sharing her wealth of experience collaborating with our clients to meet their financial needs.

Robyn Von Kahle

Accountant

Robyn has been with the firm for over 20 years. When Robyn is not assisting clients with tax and accounting needs she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.

Kaylyn Chandonnet

Staff Accountant

Kaylyn joined the Lekas, Edgar & Co. team in November 2021. She recently moved to New Hampshire with her two cats from Michigan and is excited to embark on this new chapter of life! Kaylyn earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Aquinas College in 2019 and is currently pursuing her CPA license. As Kaylyn always says, “In a world full of hate, always choose kindness, love and compassion”

Mike Green

Staff Accountant

Mike joined the firm in January of 2023, coming to us from a career in insurance and securities. He has his degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, and when he is not working, you can find him golfing, participating in musical activities, and hanging with his wife and 2 cats.

Vivian Reilly

Staff Accountant

Vivian was born in northern China. She received degrees in Gemology from Peking University and Botany from South China Agricultural University and Sun Yat-sen University and spent a year as a visiting scholar at Harvard University. After moving to the States, she worked as a Mandarin teacher, retail salesperson, and manager. She received an associate’s degree in accounting at Nashua Community College in 2022 and will receive a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of New Hampshire in 2024.

She and her husband live in Nashua, New Hampshire. She enjoys reading and cooking authentic Chinese food for her family.

Gabby Cardoso

Operations Manager

Gabby began working at Lekas, Edgar & Co. in February 2018. She lives in Manchester with her husband and dog. Prior to working at our firm Gabby was a nail technician in town for 8 years and owned her own nail salon. When looking for a change, her client Kerry took her on as her office manager!

Michelle M. Lambert, MSW

Office Manager

Michelle has been part of the Lekas, Edgar & Co. team for 20 years. Michelle acts as a key liaison between clients and staff and oversees all back-office functions. A licensed therapist with a B.S. in Psychology and a master’s degree in social work, her skills come in very handy for the team at tax time as well as our clients.

Lydia Lekas

Office Administrator

Lydia started working at Lekas, Edgar & Co. in October 2021 as an intern, and around a year later took the opportunity to become an office admin. She is a college student and will graduate from Southern NH University with a bachelor’s in psychology in 2026. She looks forward to what she will learn from this job.

Angela Calogero

Office Administrator

Angela joined the team at Lekas, Edgar & Co. in January 2024 as the Office Administrator. She moved from Massachusetts to New Hampshire with her husband and two huskies in 2018 when her son was born. Continuing to work from home, she wanted a change and was provided the opportunity with Lekas, Edgar & Co. to take on her new role now fully as the Office Administrator. She looks forward to the opportunities and growth her new job will bring.

Macey Plouff

Intern

Macey joined the Lekas, Edgar & Co. team in January of 2024. She is currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University for a Bachelor of Science in Accounting; she will graduate in 2027. When she is not working, you can find Macey cooking, at the beach, and hanging out with friends.
